These briefs can also come from the Newsdesk team, they can see which particular content is trending or know will be in demand in the near future (time specific events, seasonal changes etc) by our buyers.

Where Can I Find Them?

Video briefs can be found here newsflare.com/videobrief and the Newsflare mobile app.

On the mobile app, they appear based on your location. Enabling location services on your mobile device allows us to send you the most relevant video briefs and geo-tag any video clips you upload, making them easier for news buyers to find.

On the website, you can find video briefs using the search facility on the main navigation bar at the top of the screen. To filter video briefs based on location, open the location-based search pane.

Your video will remain attached to the brief in the back end, making it easier for the team or brands to find it. It also helps the team promote videos if a similar request comes in. Video responses to a brief are reviewed by the news buyer who set the brief. If they decide to publish or broadcast a clip, they purchase it, and you (the submitter) get paid.

How Can I Respond to a Video Brief?

For mobile uploads, you can select the video brief and click the "Respond" button at the top right of the "Video Brief Details" screen to launch the camera, and the video brief will auto-populate in the Upload Details screen. Alternatively, you can manually select the video brief in the Upload Details screen. For web uploads, you can manually select the video brief on the Video Upload Page.

If you've already uploaded a video and would like to attach it to a video brief, you can edit your video and select the video brief you'd like to add it to.

How Much Will I Get Paid If It Is Purchased?

The payment depends on how the clip is used. For more information, see How much will I be paid.

Even if your clip isn't purchased by the video brief setter, it may still be purchased by another news buyer.
